    Teijin Teonex® PEN films are Polyethylene Naphthalate Films which has balanced properties superior to PET films. 

    It is a new material for many speaker applications, as an upgrade path for Mylar users. 

    Teijin Teonex® PEN contains excellent audio properties, including:

    Low mass, high modulus (stiffness) for its density.

    Freedom from aluminum’s eddy current distortion.

    High temperature resistance.

    Easy to be thermoformed.

    Lowest Temperature PEN Resistance: -50 0C
    Crystallization Temperature: Tc=210 0
    Film-Glass Transition Temperature: Tg=155 0C
